Reflections in Second Life — WOOT!

I give you, “full” (still a bit buggy), un-post-processed (Vint Falken can confirm i’m not even a tiny bit of Photoshop and post-processing master to do this! ), out-of-the-box-viewer-powered, CPU-taking-at-its-glory, DYNAMIC REFLECTIONS!.

Let all nearby objects who are shiny to reflect their environment! (Sadly, not including avies :( )

To activate this option, go to…:
Edit -> Preferences… -> Adv. Graphics -> “Enable Vertex Shaders” (check)
Client -> Debug Settings…
Type “RenderRippleWater” (they both depend on the same engine) -> TRUE
Type “RenderReflectionRes” -> 256/512 (some GPUs may support 1024, if so, RECOMMENDED! — the above photo is in 512)
And finally…
Type “RenderDynamicReflections” -> TRUE
Create ANY object -> Set texture to blank (preferred) -> Enable shininess on High :) .

ENJOY! :D .
